Barrington British Legion has been established for 60 years and present membership is about 50. Guest speakers and outings are arranged. Membership is open for ex-service people and non-service people.
The branch has two trained care workers and give support to those who served in the armed forces including welfare, legal help, respite care and financial advice. The group meet every two months at the village hall from 7.30 p.m., and collect for Remembrance Day around the village.
New members are made more welcome. Come for a visit – no commitment for membership is necessary.

This group was formed in 1953 and meets every second Monday in the month in the Harry Davies room at 7.15p.m. The Sections main aim is to raise money for the benevolent fund to help people who have been in the armed forces and who are in need of help.
