AUTUMN TERM 2017 dates are
(no sessions 13th and 20th October or 10th November)
We meet in the Village hall between 7 and 9 p.m. and ages rising 11 to 15 are welcome. Entrance £1. Tuck shop and different activities every night.
We have pool table, badminton set, table tennis table, kwik cricket set, art and craft materials, rounders’ equipment, table football, electronic drum kit, and lots of cooking equipment.
Autumn and Spring terms we are mostly based indoors so plan a rage of different activities. We cook pizza, pancakes, mince pies, cup-cakes, sausage rolls. We play bingo for prizes, have talent competitions, a bit of gymnastics, and just see what you can create with bin bags! And of course, we have a tuckshop.
During the summer term you will see us playing sports on the main green, having a dip down little rivers, or learning a bit more of the history of our beautiful village.
Adult helpers are always most welcome! If you have a craft, musical ability, an interesting hobby or such, then why not come and share it with the youngsters.
The Club is financially supported by the Parish Council which pays the village hall hire charge. Club members pay a weekly subscription of £1 which goes towards equipment and materials costs. The Youth Leaders are all voluntary and unpaid. If you would be interested in helping for just a few nights per term that would really help.
